Kerala Rubber Limited (KRL) invites Expression of Interest (EOI) from entrepreneurs interested in setting up natural rubber based (latex/ dry rubber/wood)/ allied industries in the proposed Industrial Complex at Velloor, Vaikom Taluk, Kottayam District. Hence getting an R&D from the private sector is expensive, so it has advised to acquire from the public sector to facilitate diversification of existing rubber products and ensure product quality.
Testing and Quality Control Centre
The rubber-based industries should get proper testing and certification measures. Many times rubber products lack to attain a standard-level certificate. Setting up a central rubber park can facilitate the need for end-to-end testing of latex and will pave the way for development in rubber-related industries.
Business Incubation Centre
A Business Incubation Centre recommends facilitating imports and exports of rubber products. To resolve the lack of knowledge on trading rubber products, the park will facilitate assistance from the experts and help to get all services from the Government and promotional institutions to meet the quality standard of the product.
